OPEN COURSES

Regulations governing the enrolment in the Open Courses

Venue of the open courses: Accademia di Belle Arti, L’Aquila.

The open courses allow people who are not enrolled in the Academy as students but are interested in certain artistic fields to deepen their knowledge by attending classes of the chosen subject.

Registration for open courses should be made following the provisions of this Regulations.

Once the attendance of the chosen course has been verified, for at least 70% of the total lesson hours, the Academy issues a certificate with the attribution of the Academic Training Credits obtained. Such certification shall be subject to verification, with proper evidence, of the knowledge acquired, as assessed by a committee.

If the interested party, by the deadline of 31 December, requests to transform the attendance of the open course into enrollment and become a student of one of the active diploma courses at the Accademia di Belle Arti dell’ Aquila, the amount paid for the attendance of the open courses will be considered as a deposit of the academic contribution due according to the Regulations on student contributions. Students who apply to enroll in one of the academic degree courses will not be reimbursed the fee paid for enrolment in the open course (or open courses), even if they belong to the no-tax area as defined in the Student Fees Regulation.
