Admissions

Registration for the entrance exams to the three-year courses and the five-year one cycle of Restoration must be done through an on-line procedure.

The period of time in which the students can register themselves changes every year (as it is established by a National Commission); it can be accessed via the following link https://servizi13.isidata.net/home/ServiziStudentiRes.aspx(select the item “Accademie”).

It is suggested that you follow the instructions while filling in the online applications for entrance exams.

The application must be accompanied by the following scanned documents:

In addition, it will be necessary to pay the fee for the entrance exam, equal to € 50,00 to be made with the electronic payment system PagoPa, as instructed.

The application is acquired exclusively on-line by the Student Secretary, which will send a confirmation e-mail when the application is registered.

Candidates who hold one of the following qualifications shall be exempt from admission tests:

  • Five-year diploma obtained at the Art Institute;
  • Five-year diploma obtained at an Art Focused High School.

The Restoration course welcomes a programmed number of students; the announcement concerning the entrance exams shows the quota of students to be admitted in the academic year of reference.

It should be noted that, unlike the 3+2 courses, for access to the one-cycle Restoration course, the entrance examination is compulsory for all applicants, according to a precise timetable.

The schedule of the entrance exams for the three-year courses is defined annually by the Management of the Institute; the schedule for the selective exams for the Restoration course is reported in the annual announcement.

The main contents of the entrance exams are defined annually by the Head Office.
